3. Calculate the total wattage of your LED light fixtures and choose a transformer that can support the total wattage, with the transformer wattage load within 80% of the rated capacity.

For example, if you have 9 x 5W LED landscape lights, the total wattage would be 45W. In this case, you should choose a transformer with a capacity higher than 60W (45W / 0.8).
