Compact 24V 150W Electronic Transformer for 120-277V Input, Black

This electronic transformer, which is Class 2 and UL & cUL listed, is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Secondary wiring for Class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques, and non-metallic sheathed cable may be used for secondary wiring in walls and ceilings.

The transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W, allowing the use of LED products. It can be dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer, which should always be installed on the primary side of the transformer. This transformer is suitable for use with WAC under cabinet and recessed lights.

Transformers that end with -S include lead for Line and Straight Edge systems, while those that end with -T include a lead wire for InvisiLED 24V Tape. The transformer features soft start, short and overload circuit protection, and a 1W minimum load to support low load LED systems. It is UL & cUL Listed for Damp Locations.
